Materials Chemistry and Catalysis for Energy applications (MC2=E)

WELCOME TO OUR RESEARCH LAB PAGE!

The Huang Research Group is located in Abbott Hall, Department of Chemistry, at the University of North Dakota. We aim to develop new synthetic strategies for well-defined nanocatalysts with atomically precise sizes or crystallographic surface structures that can lead to a fundamental understanding of their structure-property relationship. This new knowledge will be used to design optimized nanocatalysts for responding to the current energy crisis and environmental problems.

Positions are available for creative and enthusiastic graduates and undergraduates! Prospective researchers should have a strong interest in material synthesis, heterogeneous catalysis for energy and environmental sustainablity, in situ/operando characterizations. Feel free to reach out to the principal investigator by weixin.huang@und.edu
